As a third generation property investor and developer I have had experience with every type of property deal going, from commercial investments, residential buy-to-lets and new build developments to holiday lettings, planning gains and option agreements. 

 

The Willow City Group, which I have been running since 2019, has tried and tested every formula over its 60 year history and has reduced property investment down to a fine science.

 

Having enjoyed a record level of growth over the last 5 years and expanding our team, we are now looking to share these decades of expertise by working with a select few clients to help establish, grow and maximise their own property portfolios under the careful guidance of Bambridge Consultancy.

My Story

As head of the Willow City Group, my day to day involves the sourcing, appraisal, acquisition, financing and project management of property investment and development deals. Every year close to 3,000 potential deals come across my desk. Of these, only around 4% make it through our rigorous appraisal process to meet our investment criteria. This leaves us each year with more deals than we have capacity to take forwards by ourselves. For many years I would often pass these on to close contacts for nothing more than a bit of good karma. However, on realising the value this could offer those looking to start or grow their own property portfolios, I set up Bambridge Consulting, to make full use of the Willow City Group's expertise and help clients build their wealth through real estate.

I have long been weary of the online property gurus, the get-rich-quick schemes and the financial freedom courses that seem to plaster social media these days. The reality is property investing is a long-term game and in most cases, you need at least some capital to get started. That is not to say there aren't ways of making money in property relatively quickly and without much money, just that this lack of capital would have to subsidised by a lot of hard work and persistence. It takes a special type of individual to build a portfolio from scratch with little money and whilst doable, be weary of anyone who tries to sell you on the idea it would be easy and all you need is an extortionately priced course. In terms of resources, everything you need to know about property is available for free online and in well researched and reasonably priced books written by qualified property professionals.

To date I have worked with a select few high-net worth individuals, some ambitious self-starters with the right attitude and work ethic and a range of international clients looking to invest into the UK property market for the first time. I wanted to create a consultancy that runs alongside our own successfully operating property company to help provide insight into the way real estate can be leveraged to create generational wealth and, more importantly, financial security. I am selective in who I work with due to the time commitment of my core business, so choose to work with those who I feel are most likely to take full advantage of the opportunity.

From it's origins as a chain of furniture shops, originating in the East End of London, the Willow City Group has grown to a collection of companies focusing on commercial and residential property investment and development. We hold investments and projects in London, Hertfordshire, Essex, the Lake District, Italy and Dubai with a total asset base of over £25m.
